CGA News and Notes-Saturday December 31, 2016
Hello everyone on this last day of 2016. I wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year as the 2017 year is upon us. May God richly bless your families and may God richly bless the CGA ministry as we move into a new year.
I have been working on the 2017 schedule. I have outings scheduled for Deerfield and Bel Meadows and am working on outings for Buckhannon CC and various other courses. I will keep you updated as the winter months go by. Please mark your calendars for Sunday April 23rd as we will tipoff the new CGA golf season at Deerfield with a Preseason Meeting at 2pm and a 9 hole tipoff outing following the meeting.
Please continue to pray for Larry Wamsley, Bill Roff, Lynn Rexroad and Bob Withers and continue in prayer for the CGA ministry.

Good morning on this Christmas Eve. I again want to thank each and everyone of you for being part of the CGA Ministry. I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. Good Monday everyone. I have received a few suggestions for next year the past week or so. If any of you have any ideas for the 2017 CGA golf season please email me over the next few weeks. I will meet with the CGA Board in late January or early February. Thanks for being a part of the CGA ministry and God bless you all.

Good first day of the week to all of you. This past Saturday there were around 30 people who came out for our annual CGA Christmas dinner and awards program
at the Steer Steakhouse near Weston. We had a wonderful time celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We heard a great message given by CGA member Dwayne Brown.

Closest to the Pin Award: Mike Hinkle
Male Player of the Year: Clay Persinger
Female Player of the Year: Michelle Linger

CGA Spirit Award: Ezra Richards
Please continue to pray for CGA members Bill Roff, Larry Wamsley, Bob Withers and Lynn Rexroad who are all dealing with health related problems.

Good Friday morning. One final reminder of the CGA Christmas dinner and awards banquet. It will be tomorrow Saturday December 10th at the Steer Steakhouse near Weston Walmart. We will open with prayer at 6pm. Please arrive a few minutes before 6 to go through the line to order your dinner (Dutch treat).
We are holding a silent auction to benefit the CGA. If you wish to donate please bring items with you tomorrow evening.

Good Wednesday to all of you. I hope to see you this Saturday evening as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We will open the dinner and awards banquet with prayer at 6pm at the Steer Steakhouse in Weston. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to go through the line and order your dinner (Dutch treat). Please bring family with you if you wish as well.
If you have any items to donate to the silent auction please bring them as well.
I have 2 prayer requests today. Please be in prayer for Larry Wamsley and Bob Withers. Both have medical issues and are facing surgery either today or very soon.

Good morning Christian friends. Next Saturday December 10th we will celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ with our annual CGA Christmas dinner and awards program. We will begin at 6pm at the Steer Steakhouse in Weston with prayer. We will have the program following the meal which is on your own.
Dwayne Brown will deliver the Christmas message and we will give out awards and honor those who have been a big part of the CGA. We will hold elections and have a silent auction to benefit the CGA ministry. If you would like to donate any golf related items, bring them with you next Saturday.
Please bring your family with you if you wish. We look forward to seeing all of you then.

Good day. Natalie and I just got home yesterday from a 12 day trip to the Panama Canal to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We had a great time!!!!! Thanks for your prayers. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Our Christmas dinner is 10 days away on Saturday December 10th at 6pm at the Steer Steakhouse in Weston. I hope you can join us as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Good afternoon. I wanted to wish all of you an early Happy Thanksgiving. May God bless your families during this Thanksgiving time.
Natalie and I are leaving tomorrow for a 12 day trip to the Panama Canal to celebrate our 25th anniversary. May you remember us in your prayers for a safe journey.
Our Christmas dinner and awards celebration is Saturday December 10th at 6pm at the Steer Steakhouse in Weston. Hope you can join us as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ron Lamb and I recently donated $200 to the National CGA and $100 to the Parish House for holiday meals. We also plan to donate $100 to the Gideon's for Bibles. This makes our total donations for 2016 at $1000.

Good afternoon.
Thanks to all of our Veterans in the CGA. I hope you have a great day tomorrow and may God bless you and your families. Thanks for all your sacrifice and dedication to our country.
One month from today we will celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, at our annual Christmas dinner and awards banquet on Saturday December 10th at the Steer Steakhouse near Weston. We will open with prayer at 6pm in the back room. We will hold a silent auction that night if you have any golf items to donate to the CGA. All $$$$ will go to the CGA.
Ron Lamb and I are meeting tonight to go over the checking account. We also will decide what donations we can make to the national CGA and other causes.
Please continue to be in prayer for the CGA ministry. Any suggestions are appreciated for next year. All the current officers are willing to return in 2017 as well as Charlie Straley has shown interest in joining the board.
