We are 5+weeks from our annual Christmas dinner on Saturday December 10th at the Steer Steakhouse in Weston. We will open with grace at 6pm. I hope you can make it out and celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We are looking for any suggestions about the 2017 season that you have. Any help would be appreciated. We will hold election of officers that night as well. If anyone would be interested in getting involved with the CGA Board please let me know.

At our Christmas dinner on Saturday December 10th we will be holding a silent auction to raise money for our Chapter. If you would like to donate any good used or new golf items that would be great. Also any ideas for the future of our Chapter as we head into 2017 would be appreciated.

Our annual Christmas dinner is Saturday December 10th at the Steer Steakhouse near Weston. We will open the dinner with prayer at 6pm. We will give out awards, look back at the past season and most important celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Hope you can make it out.

If you would like to go to a Gospel concert on December 3rd at the American Mountain Theater I have some tickets left. They are $24 for adults and $16 for youth ages 5-18. I need the money by Sunday October 30th to reserve the seats. The group is Ernie Haase and Signature Sound.

The Bel Meadows outing scheduled for Saturday October 22nd has been cancelled due to low signups. That makes this Sunday's outing at Riverbend the last for 2016. We will begin registration at 2pm and plan to tee off shortly after 2:30pm.

Following golf I am bringing in some golf related items to have a short silent auction with the proceeds going to our Chapter of the CGA. If you would like to donate to this cause please bring your items with you on Sunday. We will hold the auction for 30 minutes or less after we finish golfing on Sunday.

I would also like to invite all of you to a Gospel concert this Saturday evening at the Chapel Hill UM Church in Buckhannon. The concert will begin at 7pm. A love offering will be taken for Jason Runnels music ministry.

Also if anyone is interested in going to a Christmas Gospel concert by Ernie Haase and Signature Sound on Saturday December 3rd at the American Mountain Theater at 7:30p. I have 36 tickets left at this time. The cost is $24 per ticket for adults. You can get them from me or Natalie. All checks should be written to the Tennerton UM Church.

We play this coming Sunday the 16th at Riverbend at 2pm. This could very well be our last outing of 2016 if we fall short in numbers for the Bel Meadows outing.

I would like to invite you to participate in a couple of church activities. This coming Saturday (Oct. 15th) there is a gospel concert by Jason Runnels at the Chapel Hill UM Church in Buckhannon at 7pm. A love offering will be taken for Jason's ministry.

Also, I have 40 tickets reserved for Ernie Haase and Signature Sound who will do there Christmas concert at the American Mountain Theater on Saturday December 3rd at 7:30p. The cost is $24 for adults and $16 for children 5-18 years of age. All payments should be made to the Tennerton UM Church and given to me or Natalie by October 30th.

We play at Riverbend next Sunday the 16th with registration at 2pm. This may possibly be the last outing for 2016 since at this time we only have Clay interested in playing at Bel Meadows on the 22nd. If anyone would like to play at Bel Meadows the deadline is next Friday the 14th and we need at least 7 more players.

We have 2 outings left on the 2016 CGA golf schedule. We play at Riverbend on Sunday October 16th at 2pm. Following golf we will have a silent auction of golf related items. If you would like to donate items it would be greatly appreciated. All proceeds will go to our chapter of the CGA.

The last scheduled outing is Saturday October 22nd at 11am at Bel Meadows. I will be out of town that day, so Clay has agreed to be in charge. At this time Clay and Bob Kincaid are all that have committed to playing. We need at least 8 total to have this outing. The deadline is Friday October 14th to enter. I need to let Bel Meadows know on Saturday the 15th if we still plan to play on the 22nd.

Our annual Christmas dinner and awards program is Saturday December 10th at 6pm at the Steer Steakhouse in Weston. The Christmas message will be given by Dwayne Brown. The dinner is Dutch treat and please bring your spouses and family if you wish. We also will look at officers for 2017 that evening.
