Thanks be to the Lord for such a great fall Sunday afternoon. Even
though the U.S. could not hold off the Europeans in the Ryder Cup,
Team Hinkle did hold off team Zickefoose in the CGA version. The final
score was 23-19. Here is how it all played out:

Our next outing is Friday October 12 at Clarksburg CC. We currently
have only 7 players signed up. We must have at least 10 by this
Thursday October 4 at 9pm or the outing will be cancelled. So far we

You can enter by emailing me or calling me. Again, the deadline is
this Thursday at 9pm. We will meet at 11am, have devotions at 11:30
and tee off at noon.

The last Stonewall outing of the year is Saturday October 20. We will
meet at noon have devotions at 12:30 and tee off at 1pm. We currently
have the minimum of 10 entered. We will randomly draw for teams at
this outing. Here is the list signed up so far:

The deadline is Friday October 12 at 9pm to enter.

We have 2 outings left at Riverbend this year. The first is Sunday
October 14 and the last is Sunday October 28. Both days we will meet
at 1:30 and start play around 2pm. The last outing on October 28 will
be a Par 3 outing with $25 gift cards awarded to the closest to the
pin on each hole. If someone gets a hole in one they will win all 9
cards. We will also plan to eat after the outing on the 28th. Mike
Rogers will fix hamburgers and the cost will be only $5 per person to
eat.

The Tennerton UM Church where I attend is again planning a trip to see
the Christmas Show at the American Mountain Theater in Elkins on
Saturday December 1 at 7:30pm. I have reserved 40 seats for this show.
The cost is $22 per ticket. If anyone would be interested in going
with us please give me a call. The deadline is October 15 and all
checks should be written to the Tennerton UM Church. This show is a
great way to start your Christmas season. Also, please do not forget
the CGA Christmas dinner is Friday December 7 at 6:30pm at the Steer
Steakhouse in Weston near the Walmart.
