Fwd: CGA Planning Meeting Update
Good evening CGA members. We met yesterday to make additional plans for the 2019 CGA golf season. We had a great turnout with the following members present: Mike Hinkle, Clay Persinger, Charlie Straley, Bob Kincaid, Darrell Linger, Tom Shackleford, Bill Gum, Ron Bentley, Ron Hurst, John Cale, Harry Grose and Steve Liptak. We discussed several issues, but mostly about scheduling. I wanted to send out today all the outings set so far for 2019 so you can get them on your calendar. We will add some others as well. Here is what I have so far:
Saturday May 11 at Glenville 9a
Friday May 31 at Highlands (Franklin) 10a
Thursday June 20 at Sunny Croft (Clarksburg) 9a
Thursday June 27 at Raven (Snowshoe) 27 holes 8:30a-Match Play
Tuesday July 2 at Canaan Valley 10a
Thursday July 18 at Alpine Lake 11a
Thursday July 25-26 at Pipestem Overnight stay (Arrive by 11a first day)
Tuesday July 30 at Apple Valley (Fairmont) 11:30a and PAR 3 Outing 5p
All times are estimated arrival times to be at course.
I have the following dates scheduled for Bel Meadows:
Thursday May 2
Thursday June 6
Thursday July 11
Thursday August 1
Thursday September 5
Sunday October 6
Sunday October 20
Starting times to be determined for Bel Meadows
We are waiting to hear from Buckhannon CC about dates.
We decided to have our Annual Christmas dinner on Saturday December 7th at a place to be determined.
We do plan to get started on Monday April 22nd at either Buckhannon CC or Elkins GC. I will let you know ASAP. I will also let you know of additional schedule additions as they come.
