Good first day of November. We just finished the 2018 CGA golf season. We played 23 outings this year with 9 being cancelled due to weather or other reasons. I hope you enjoyed this golf season with other Christian brothers and sisters.
Our annual Christmas dinner and awards ceremony will be Friday December 7th at Audrey's Restaurant in Buckhannon. The dinner will begin at 6pm with prayer. Please RSVP by Saturday December 1st if you plan to attend and if you plan to bring others with you so I can notify the restaurant. The cost of the dinner is $14 plus tax and tips per person. Hope you can plan to join us this year.

CGA Bel Meadows outing cancelled due to weather for Sunday
Good day golfing friends. Our outing tomorrow at Bel Meadows has been cancelled due to amount of rain for the weekend including rain in forecast for tomorrow. This will end the 2018 golfing season for our chapter. Our season ends with 23 outings played.
Our annual Christmas dinner will be Friday December 7th at Audrey’s Restaurant in Buckhannon. The dinner will begin at 6pm with prayer. The cost of the dinner is $14 plus tips per person. Hope you can join us to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Please fill welcome to bring guests with you.
I would appreciate if you would RSVP if you are attending and how many with you by Saturday December 1st so I can let the restaurant know.

Fwd: CGA Bel Meadows changed from 10/21 to 10/28
Dear CGA members. Due to the weather forecast of highs in the 40's this Sunday I have changed the outing back 1 Sunday to October 28th. This will be our last chance to get 1 more outing in for 2018. Plan to arrive at 1:30p and play will begin at 2pm on the 28th.

Fwd: CGA Schedule update-Thursday October 4, 2018
Here are the schedule changes for the rest of the year. The Franklin outing has been CANCELLED for Friday October 12th. The golf course agreed that the greens may not be great to putt on since they are aerating them the days prior. They apologized for the miscommunication. Since the Deerfield outing was cancelled by the golf course I have added Bel Meadows for an additional outing. We cannot play at Bel Meadows on Sunday the 14th since they have a tournament that day. So the last 2 outings of the year will be at Bel Meadows on these dates:
Friday October 12th
Sunday October 21st
Both outings plan to arrive by 1:30p and tee off will be at 2pm. The cost will be $25 on the Friday outing and $30 on the Sunday outing. Both outings will be 18 holes. I will not be able to make either outing.

I just received an email from the Highlands Golf Course in Franklin. They are going to aerate the greens on the 10th and 11th. The 2 days before we play on the 12th. Do those who have signed up to play still think we should play? Let me know your thoughts as soon as possible.

Dear CGA family. Today I received a call from Deerfield CC. They are closed for the season. So we now have 2 outings remaining for 2018. We play at Franklin on Friday October 12th and at Bel Meadows on Sunday October 21st. Both will be 18 hole outings. Hope you can join us for both or either one.

Good Thursday evening. We have 3 outings left on the 2018 CGA golf schedule. All of them are in October. Here is the schedule:
Friday October 12th at Franklin at 1:00p (Tee times start at 1:28p) We have room for 16 golfers and we have 8 at this time signed up. $26.50 per player.
Sunday October 14th at Deerfield CC at 2pm
Sunday October 21st at Bel Meadows at 2pm
All of these can be 18 hole outings if the group wants.
