Good Sunday morning Christian friends. We play at Bel Meadows this coming Thursday August 16th. Please arrive around 5pm to pay the course and do devotions. This is a play your own ball outing. Hope you can make it.

Fwd: CGA Par 3 results-Thursday August 9, 2018
Good evening. Today's outing was decided on one shot. On his first shot of the day, Ron Bentley made a hole in one and won all 10 ($250) gift cards in our annual Par 3 outing at Deerfield CC. Ron made his ace on the 100 yard #9 hole. Congrats to Ron for his achievement. Here are the results for all 20 golfers who took part:

Good day friends. We play our annual Par 3 event tomorrow, Thursday August 9th at Deerfield. Please plan to arrive around 5pm and pay the course the $16 fee to play. We are giving away $250 worth of gift cards to various restaurants.
There is a 60% chance of thunderstorms for tomorrow. I will post a cancellation notice by 3:30p if the weather dictates. I am leaving for Weston at 3:30p to set up the course.

Another great evening for golf. We had a nice outing with 11 participating today at Buckhannon CC. Thanks be to God for His wonderful creation. Here are today's scores:

We play at Buckhannon CC tomorrow evening, August 6. Please plan to arrive around 5pm and plan to pay by cash or check to Buckhannon CC for $20.
We also play our annual Par 3 event this Thursday August 9th at Deerfield. Plan to arrive around 5pm once again to pay the $16 fee to the golf course. We will give away $250 worth of gift cards to various restaurants. We will play our own ball with a maximum score of 5 on a hole.

CGA Franklin (Highlands) Cancelled for tomorrow due to weather
Dear friends. Due to flood watches for the whole area, including Franklin for tonight and tomorrow, the outing for tomorrow has been cancelled. I spoke to the golf course and they agreed with the forecast for tomorrow. I wanted to let you know before I missed someone and they drove over to Franklin.

Good day again. I have 1 additional thing to add to my previous email.
I have cancelled the outing at Keyser for Thursday August 30th. I spoke to Mike Rogers at the Raven at Snowshoe and he has agreed to us playing again on Thursday August 30th. The cost will again be $30 per person for 27 holes of golf. I will not be able to take part due to being back in school. Please plan to arrive by 8:30am and we will have a putting contest and we will again play the 2 person format we used last time.
I will have a signup sheet for the Raven and for the Mountainview outing on Thursday September 6 at the next few outings, starting this week.

The weather forecast for this week is full of thunderstorms all across WV. Please keep a watch on the forecast for Franklin for Thursday. I would appreciate input between 5p and 6p on Wednesday through email about playing Thursday. Also, I plan to leave Buckhannon on Thursday AM around 7:30a. Please check your emails on Wednesday night before going to bed as well as around 7am on Thursday morning in case of cancellation notice prior to leaving your home.
We also play next Monday, August 6 at Buckhannon CC at 5pm and Thursday August 9th at Deerfield CC for our annual Par 3 outing at 5pm.
