Good evening. We had a nice evening for golf. The course was wet and soft, but a nice evening for the outing. We had 16 take part and here are the final scores:

Good late Friday evening. After missing the last 2 weeks of outings it is time to get back to CGA golfing. Here is our next 5 outings:

Dear CGA members. I have scheduled our annual Par 3 event for Thursday August 9th at Deerfield CC near Weston. Plan to arrive around 5pm and pay the course the $16 fee to play. We will give away 10 $25 gift cards to various restaurants that evening. I tried to schedule this at Stonewall but could not get any response back. There will be a signup sheet for this outing so we can be sure to have enough carts available. I will have the signup sheet at the Stonewall outing in July and at the Franklin and Buckhannon CC outings in August. The deadline to enter will be August 6st.

Good evening. We had 10 players enjoy the 27 hole outing today at the Raven at Snowshoe Resort. We played 2 person teams with 9 holes of scramble play, 9 holes of best score play and 9 holes of total score play. Here are the results from today's outing:

Dear CGA family. Due to so many members out of town and with other committments the next 2 outings on the schedule have been CANCELLED. The July 12th outing at Deerfield and the July 19th outing at Bel Meadows have been CANCELLED. The next outing will be Thursday July 26st at Stonewall at 5pm. Please mark your calendars and make necessary changes to schedule.

Good Saturday late evening to all of you. The weather looks picture perfect for Monday at Snowshoe. We expect between 16 and 20 to take part in the 27 hole outing. It is going to be a long day of golf. Please arrive by 8:30a to pay the $30 fee to the course. We will hold devotions and prayer and a putting contest prior to the 27 hole event. We plan to play 2 player teams (1st 9-scramble, 2nd 9 best score of 2 players, 3rd 9 both scores added together). The maximum score for the day will be double bogey. We will allow 2 mulligans per player for the day. Look forward to seeing all of you.

We had 18 take part in today's outing at Canaan Valley. The weather was iffy at times but we got the outing in. We all played our own balls today and we used the Peoria Handicap System to determine the order of finish. Here are the results:

Happy 4th of July everyone. On this 242nd birthday of our nation may the Lord's blessings continue to be with the United States and my prayer is that our nation will draw closer to God once again.
