Fwd: CGA Par 3-Monday August 19, 2019 at 5pm-Deerfield CC
Our annual Par 3 is Monday August 19th at 5pm at Deerfield CC. This year I hope we can play 18 holes instead of 9. We will give away $250 worth of gift cards to various restaurants that evening. I would like to take a survey of members to see how many plan to take part in this outing so we can let Deerfield CC know what to plan for. Please drop me an email by August 15th if you plan to take part that day. This will be a play your own ball with a max score of 5 on any hole. Please let me know.

If your plans have changed please drop me an email today. The weather forecast is for thunderstorms today and tonight and early tomorrow morning with clearing as the day goes on tomorrow. If you have any questions in the morning about cart rules I would call the course first thing before you drive to Alpine Lake.
In the past 2 weeks I have had some back issues and I sprained my ankle at Elkins on Monday. I will let you know later today if my situation changes for tomorrow. At this time I still hope to take part. I will be out and about for most of today. I will check my emails and the weather again later this afternoon. I will give you an update this evening. Good Sunday morning. A couple of things before I head out to church services.
Our annual Par 3 is scheduled for Tuesday July 30th at Apple Valley near Fairmont. We are playing a regular outing at noon that day followed by the Par 3 at 5:30p. You can enter either one or both. So far I have the following:

I would love to have a good turnout for the Par 3 outing. We give away gift cards for prizes and I hope for a good turnout. If you are not going to Pipestem this week you will need to enter the July 30th outing by email or phone 472-4047. Let me know if you plan to play both or the regular or Par 3 when you enter. I need to set the deadline for this Saturday July 27th. If we need to make any changes to schedule I will let you know.
One final thing for today. We are planning a Picnic/Miniature Golf outing on Sunday August 18th. We would meet to eat around 2pm and play 36 holes of miniature golf around 3pm. I have the course at Fairmont scheduled but found a much nicer miniature golf course in Morgantown. This day is open for you to bring your families to take part in a picnic and join us for the miniature golf outing. I need to make a list of those who will take part in this activity to see if there is enough interest. The cost to golf at either place is around $10 for 36 holes and each person could bring a covered dish to share. I will start a signup sheet this week at Pipestem and you can also signup by email or phone.

Fwd: CGA Par 3 outing-Tuesday July 30, 2019
Good day. Our annual Par 3 outing is this coming Tuesday evening, July 30th. . We plan to play it at Apple Valley near Fairmont with a 5:30p start time. At this time we have 11 scheduled to take part. In past years we have given away $25 gift cards to various restaurants. I would love to see more take part. We are playing a regular outing at noon that day at the same golf course. The regular outing costs $20 with the VIP Card and the Par 3 9 hole outing costs $10. I have extended the signup date to this Sunday July 28th at midnight. You can enter both outings or either one. When you email me give me the outing you plan to play or both. I am calling the golf course at 7am Monday morning to let them know our final count.
I will see some of you at Pipestem tomorrow and hope to see the rest of you soon.

Fwd: CGA Schedule changes and updates-Friday July 26, 2019
Good Friday evening CGA members and friends.
Our next outing is this Tuesday July 30th at Apple Valley near Fairmont. We have decided to postpone the Par 3 portion of this outing due to low numbers. We will reschedule it for possibly Monday August 19th at Deerfield CC. I will let you know.
We are still planning to play 27 holes this Tuesday at Apple Valley. Please arrive by 11am so we can start between 11:30 and noon. This outing will be similiar to the 27 hole outing we played at Glenville. This will be a play your own ball outing and we will play different tees each 9 holes.
