Hi CGA friends. After tomorrows outing our next outing is this coming Monday, May 20th at Elkins. Please arrive by 2p so the outing can start by 2:30p. It is a 18 hole play your own ball outing.
We also play at Franklin on Friday May 31st. The deadline to enter is Thursday May 23rd. At this time we have 8 scheduled to take part.
Hope to see you on the golf course really soon.

Fwd: CGA Bridge Haven
Good morning golfing friends. Please keep an eye on the weather report today. I will send out an email this evening around 8:30p with 1 final check with all of you. The current weather forecast is for 50% chance of AM thurderstorms for Fayetteville and 50% chance for Summersville during the day. At this time I feel that we can make it a go and do our best to get at least 18 holes out of the day.

Dear friends.
Our next outing is this Friday May 17th at Bridge Haven and Nicholas CC (36 holes). Please arrive by 9am to get ready at Bridge Haven. We have 10 scheduled to take part:
AM only: Bob Kincaid and Charlie Straley
Both: Mike Hinkle, Ron Lamb, Ron Hurst, Ron Bentley, John Cale, Bill Gum and Tom Shackleford
I have not heard from Jim Wagoner about his plans.
Keep an eye on the weather and we will converse by email on Thursday.
Next Monday we play at Elkins. Please arrive by 2pm so we can start by 2:30p. This is an 18 hole outing.
The outing on Friday May 31st at Franklin has a deadline to enter of May 23rd.

Fwd: CGA outing Friday
Good Monday AM. I need some clarification about Friday. We have 2-18 hole outings scheduled for the day. One at Bridge Haven and one at Nicholas CC in Summersville. I need to know who plans to play both and who plans to play just the first outing. I contacted both courses yesterday and told them there would be 11 players. I may need to adjust the second outing numbers.
Also, keep an eye on the weather forecast. I need to hear from each of you about your thoughts as we get to Thursday. I appreciate your assistance.

Fwd: CGA Glenville results-Saturday May 11, 2019
The weather held off and the 10 participants enjoyed the round at Glenville GC today. We had 3 teams take part:

John Cale, Bill Gum, Tom Shackleford-66 (Won 2nd on 1st tiebreaker hole)

I have added an additional outing to the 2019 schedule on Saturday July 13 we will return to Glenville for a 27 hole outing. We will play the red tees the 1st 9, the white tees the 2nd nine and the blue tees the 3rd nine. This will be a play your own ball day. The cost will be around $30-$35 for the day. Please add this to your schedule.
Our next outing is next Friday May 17th at Bridge Haven and Nicholas CC (36 holes). We will play your own ball the first 18 and play scramble the 2nd 18. Please plan to arrive at Bridge Haven by 9am for all preround activities. Our tee times begin at 9:30a.

Our next outing is this Monday May 6 at Buckhannon CC. We will have a short meeting at 5pm and play 9 holes of golf following the meeting. The cost is $20 per player payable by cash or check to the CGA. Monday is also the last day to enter the May 11th outing at Glenville.
